**Site Supervisor** who will play the lead role in overseeing day-to-day site operations, monitoring site activities, controlling/coordinating project deliveries, and maintaining safe site conditions. The Site Supervisor is responsible to ensure that the project is run safely on schedule, proper safety procedures are followed and the quality parameters are met.

**Requirements for Construction Site Supervisor**:
- Possess 4+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor on industrial, commercial and institute new building construction and site development.
- Don't mind swinging a hammer or working the drill. Experience as a wood or steel framer is a strong asset.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Prepare and update schedules, work progress, production and other reports.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
- Coordinate trades and materials scheduling with PM.
- Provide daily, weekly and bi-weekly updates to the project manager as needed.
- Monitor progress on site, and maintain constant contact with PM to keep the schedule on track.
- Track & resolve deficiencies in a timely manner which may require performing handyman services to ensure minor repairs and deficiencies are resolved.
- Thorough understanding of working with construction drawings and specification books with the ability to read, interpret and communicate with sub-contractors to execute consultants' intent.
- Enforcing the company's health and safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and healthy work site
- Demonstrated ability to lead site-level work activities, problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage & meet construction schedule deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Qualifications for Construction Site Supervisor**:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is considered an asset
- 2-4 years of experience in supervisory within construction.
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
- Experience with project management software or Pro-Core preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
- A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions, RFI, CCN, PO, etc.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
