About the Role

At Pro Vita Care Management, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, applying aseptic techniques, and conducting specimen collection. They will also ensure infection control, monitor nutritional intake, and observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects. Additionally, they will take vital signs, clean and sterilize equipment, and provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care.

Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
