Overview

TEEMA is seeking a skilled Virtual Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Virtual Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients via our telehealth platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual consultations with patients, assessing their needs and developing treatment plans.
  • Order tests, prescribe medication, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
  • Provide patient education on conditions, treatment options, and prevention.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Adhere to healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing service enhancements and stay updated on healthcare and telemedicine developments.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Practitioner certification in good standing with the BC provincial regulatory body.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience with telehealth or virtual care is a plus.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual healthcare team.
