Job Opportunity

Partner Staffing is seeking a skilled Power System Electrician to oversee safety protocols, network access, maintenance, and inspections in high voltage settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing operations within substations and other related infrastructure, ensuring all work aligns with safety regulations and quality benchmarks.

This is a Calgary-based role with no overnight travel. A competitive salary, benefits, and a company vehicle are included as part of the package.



Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various trades and professionals to provide safe access to substation and network infrastructure.
  • Assess and communicate safety risks on-site, ensuring all tasks are conducted according to high voltage safety protocols.
  • Maintain site security, control access, and ensure public safety during operations, including traffic management.

Requirements:

  • Alberta Journeyperson certification as a Power System Electrician or Powerline Technician.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in substations or underground network infrastructure (vaults, manholes, etc.).
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license.
  • Basic security clearance required.
  • Strong understanding of Alberta Electrical Utility Code and Alberta Safety Legislation.
  • Additional certifications in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platforms, and First Aid are an asset.

Requirements
