Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Owl Drugs Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure web server hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot computer systems and networks to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance and protect against potential threats.
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts to enhance user experience and functionality.
  • Provide technical support to Website visitors and designers, responding to requests for help and information in a timely and professional manner.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in initiatives that support newcomers and refugees, including providing assistance with immediate settlement needs and supporting social and labour market integration.
  • Support youth employment by participating in government or community programs and offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Support Veterans by participating in initiatives that promote their transition into the civilian workforce, including providing workshops and counselling services.
  • Support Indigenous people by developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities and providing cultural competency training to employees.
  • Support mature workers by applying hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and providing awareness training to employees.
  • Support visible minorities by participating in initiatives that promote their inclusion and providing diversity and cross-cultural training to employees.
