About the Opportunity

As a Physiotherapist with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. You will provide services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, working closely with other health disciplines to educate and communicate with patients, families, and caregivers. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential for this role.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body)
  • Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
  • Competencies in other languages, with French being an asset

Hours
  • Part-time long assignment, 50%, 37.5 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximately 6 months
Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $33.97-$42.89. Additionally, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
