Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and complete tasks accordingly.
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports.
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble in cable networks.
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as needed.
  • Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access for customers.
  • Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems to ensure high-quality service.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to minimize downtime.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to resolve technical issues.
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to maintain optimal network performance.
  • Work within a team environment to achieve company goals.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
