Job DescriptionRole Summary: As a Restorative Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care. This includes performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, serving as an oral health educator, and establishing and retaining patient loyalty.
Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care
- Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
- Serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients
- Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on patients' expectations, maintaining ethical and professional behavior
- Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene, with successful completion of approved Restorative Dental Hygiene course
- Restorative Dental Hygiene experience preferred but not necessary
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing
- Valid CPR certification
