Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Coordinator to join our Systems, Software & Solutions (S3) Operations team in Calgary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, providing project leadership, support, knowledge, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, functionality, and customer expectations
  • Produce project schedules, financial reports, and other documentation as required by customers
  • Drive the project lifecycle from sales handoff to delivery of a quality solution, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Interface with our manufacturing shop and influence project stakeholders to produce results in the customer's best interest
  • Set project schedules and adapt quickly to changing project requirements
  • Maintain accurate project financial reporting, including forecasting and identifying cost differentials
  • Communicate effectively with customers, business unit managers, and sales teams to deliver outstanding project outcomes
  • Collaborate with team leads to set priorities for the engineering and mechanical design team

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, technologist diploma considered an asset
  • Process control system design experience, including analytical, PLC, DCS, pneumatic systems, and pre-fabricated building systems, considered an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with the fabrication lifecycle of manufactured assemblies and integration of these components into a complete solution, considered an asset
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and practices, considered an asset
  • SAP PS module experience, considered an asset
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced team environment and meet customer deadlines
  • Strong negotiating skills, exceptional verbal and written communication, and extensive customer service practices
