About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CAE. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Remove and replace line replaceable units and components as required.
  • Perform specialty work in maintenance shops as needed.
  • Interpret technical publications and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
  • Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties.
  • Order aircraft spare parts and materials as needed.
  • Conduct flight line servicing operations to ensure aircraft are airworthy.
  • Debrief Team Lead as required to ensure effective communication.
  • Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Fulfill the position of Desk Controller as required.
Requirements
  • Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence).
  • Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering licence (M1, M2).
Experience
  • No less than 4 years of aircraft related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years 1st and 2nd line maintenance activities.
  • Experience in life cycle support activities an asset.
Other Required Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a team player.
  • Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.
  • Some travel required.
