Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Remove and replace line replaceable units and components as required.
- Perform specialty work in maintenance shops as needed.
- Interpret technical publications and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
- Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties.
- Order aircraft spare parts and materials as needed.
- Conduct flight line servicing operations to ensure aircraft are airworthy.
- Debrief Team Lead as required to ensure seamless communication.
- Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups to maintain a safe working environment.
- Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence - Canadian Forces AVN Technician).
- Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license M2 or (M1/M2 combined).
- No less than 4 years of aircraft related experience.
- Minimum 3 years 1st and 2nd line maintenance activities.
- Experience in life cycle support activities an asset.
- Proven experience as a team player.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts; some travel required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.
- Ability to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada.
- Eligibility to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit.
