About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our Sea Logistics team in Ottawa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to maximize revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive business growth;
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation;
  • Develop and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure revenue growth and customer satisfaction;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and achieve business objectives;
  • Provide regular sales activity reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience, preferably in logistics or a related industry;
  • Strong knowledge of sea logistics services, including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading, and drayage services;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preferred undergraduate degree or college certificate.
