Job Summary

Caringpeople healthcare Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate project initiatives to drive business growth and revenue
  • Coordinate the revision of programs to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Hire, train, direct and motivate staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform business decisions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to ensure timely and accurate information
  • Manage contracts to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes
  • Plan, develop and implement communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote business objectives
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees
  • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
Support for Youth
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment
Support for Veterans
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans
Support for Indigenous People
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people
  • Offer mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to create a welcoming work environment
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
Support for Mature Workers
  • Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
