Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a General Internal Medicine physician to join the Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Vancouver General Hospital.
Program Overview
The Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program provides specialized care to patients with aggressive hematologic malignancies and those undergoing stem cell transplant.
Responsibilities
- Support the program by being part of the team providing care to patients admitted/presenting to VGH ER under the program.
- Collaborate in the care of these patients with the leukemia/bone marrow transplant attending physicians, fellows-in-training and clinical associates working with the program.
- Take part in the call and weekend schedule.
Requirements
- License to practice medicine in British Columbia.
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Full.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory.
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Mandatory.
