We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Inn on the Lake. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Clerical duties (faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, standing for extended periods, work under pressure
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player
