Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Consultant in the MS Clinic at University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC). This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical leadership skills, expertise in MS care, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with MS, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with the Regional MS Team and Clinic to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide leadership and guidance to primary care providers in all care settings
  • Develop and deliver education programs for healthcare professionals and patients
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and policy development
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three (3) years' recent related clinical nursing experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year experience in a supervisory/leadership/teaching role
  • Completion of applicable Canadian Nursing Association (CNA) certificate in the designated clinical area and/or completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
