Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Divisional Director of Operations for our Community and Patient Access Services Division at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering operational excellence, strategic development, and high-quality patient care in a complex division with multiple clinical service areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Performance: Drive operational performance and strategic development of clinical directorates to ensure high-quality patient care and robust clinical governance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive directors, external partners, and commissioners to advance corporate and cross-cutting programs.
  • Leadership and Development: Collaborate with senior leaders to implement corporate objectives and facilitate integrated working across System, Place, and Neighbourhoods.
Requirements
  • Substantial operational management experience, primarily at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering change and performance improvement.
  • In-depth professional knowledge acquired through training and experience.
  • Budget management experience, including departmental budgets and cost-saving programs.
  • Experience in transformation and service improvement programs.
