The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of the Canadian drug reimbursement landscape and have experience with private and public payers. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Navigate reimbursement processes for patients, ensuring timely and accurate claims submissions.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance providers to resolve reimbursement issues.
  • Analyze and interpret insurance policies, including provincial and private coverage criteria.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and insurance companies.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to reimbursement regulations and guidelines.

**Requirements:**

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in reimbursement navigation, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
