We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team at Southampton Financial Inc.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide support to the human resources team by assisting with assorted HR tasks and administering payroll. This includes recruitment efforts, onboarding new hires, and maintaining electronic HR records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary phone screening and scheduling interviews
- Assist with onboarding new hires, liaising with hiring managers and IT to ensure equipment, software needs and accommodations have been provided
- Administer payroll ensuring accurate pay is received for each employee (twice per month)
- Provide all payroll related documentation, including but not necessarily limited to ROEs, T4s, and T2200s
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources & Payroll, a solid understanding of CRA Guidelines & Regulations as it relates to the Payroll Function, and knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous paid time off policy.
