Humber River Health is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Environmental Attendant to join our team in the Environmental Services department.
Job OverviewWe are committed to creating a cleaner, safe work environment and patient care setting for our facility. As an Environmental Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Clean and disinfect all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and equipment
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning solutions safely and effectively
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A high level of physical fitness, as this role involves regular lifting, bending, and standing
We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to our Employee Assistance Program.
