About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager to join our Specialized Groups team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in the strategic support of companies across Canada.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting services to clients, leveraging your high-level professional knowledge and experience.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve clients' business objectives.
  • Participate in the development of sector-specific funding strategies and guidelines.
  • Support account managers and senior managers in the implementation of new financing files.
  • Identify financial risks to the Bank and make recommendations to reduce or eliminate them.
  • Participate in the preparation of files, including the analysis and establishment of financing structures.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with funding and risk management policies.

About You:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in complex trade credit, acquisition loans, and business products and services. You should have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage priorities and timelines.
