Senior Quantitative Portfolio Manager

Our client, a leading global quantitative trading firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantitative Portfolio Manager to join their high- and mid-frequency trading team. As a key member of the portfolio management team, you will be responsible for the full research, development, and trading pipeline of systematic, quantitative strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies in liquid asset classes
  • Manage and optimize trading portfolios to maximize returns and minimize risk
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement research and development initiatives
  • Provide expert-level support to junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes, and adapt strategies accordingly
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in front office buy-side quantitative research and trading, with a track record of running a significant book
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or similar) with excellent marks, from a top university
  • Extensive experience with Python in a professional environment, with C++ experience a significant advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a history of successful alpha research, implementation, and monetization
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation and interpersonal skills
