Job Description

The IT organization of Enerkem is responsible for the life cycle planning and support of business applications through selection, operation, refresh, migration, and optimization. As an Application Specialist - D365, you will be responsible for building or configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics. You will work in an agile Scrum mode and provide technical expertise in the implementation of complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business departments to ensure operational ERP information flows
  • Provide technical expertise in the implementation of complex solutions
  • Coordinate the design, development, and implementation of solutions
  • Capture business requirements and transform them into functional specifications
  • Propose changes to existing business processes and create new ones to meet specific requirements
  • Understand ERP system tables to develop reports, perform database queries, or build integrations with third-party applications
  • Direct, develop, and oversee the test phase of each initiative
  • Develop and facilitate training for business users
  • Work with third-party application providers when necessary
  • Build effective relationships with business teams and ensure business processes are executed consistently
  • Enable workshops and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement of business processes

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience supporting or developing applications in a similar role
  • 5 years of experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics (365, AX) preferred, business process reengineering, and ERP system support in a multi-site environment
  • Implementing and/or operating Microsoft Dynamics AX or comparable systems
  • Good knowledge of finance, human resources, project management, and supply chain systems
  • Functional knowledge of ERP modules in Finance and Human Resources
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, or a related field
