Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Public Security Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing municipal by-laws, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the safety and security of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce municipal by-laws related to parking, public nuisance, garbage, and animal control.
  • Issue tickets to violators of by-laws and provide education on compliance.
  • Patrol and inspect municipal buildings and parks to ensure safety and security.
  • Conduct traffic control and respond to residents' concerns and complaints.
  • Collect evidence and build files for potential legal proceedings.
  • Deliver and pick up mail, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Follow instructions and procedures for verifying vacant homes, parking permits, and alarms.
  • Prepare daily reports and other documents as requested by superiors.
  • Testify in court as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma – Grade V
  • Security background
  • Bilingualism
  • Driver's license, Class 4A
  • No criminal record
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions
  • Available for shift work, including weekends
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
