Change Management Specialist with Strategic Impact

Seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to drive strategic impact and ensure seamless transition in our fast-paced environment at Sun Life Financial Distributors (SLFD). The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

We are offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience, to lead our change initiatives and develop effective communication strategies. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is passionate about making a lasting impression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing change management plans that maximize adoption and minimize resistance
  • Supporting SLFD initiatives with actionable deliverables for sponsorship, communications, training, resistance management, and ongoing monitoring of implemented changes
  • Identifying stakeholders, assessing the impact of each change on them, and evaluating their readiness to adopt new ways of thinking, behaving, and working
  • Creating clear and engaging communications that address plain language information, respect Sun Life writing and brand guidelines, and align with the compelling SLFD vision and story
  • Supporting project teams by integrating change management activities into their project plans

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of how people go through change and the ability to look at change through the eyes of many impacted stakeholders
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • The ability to clearly articulate the change story: What will be new? Different? Taken away?
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
  • An ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
