We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Officer - Diversity Equity & Inclusion Specialist to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's commitment to growing its social license and promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity.
Key Responsibilities- Administer training programs and coordinate course presentations, demonstrations, and lectures.
- Conduct staffing studies and develop training plans to support plant operations.
- Continually review and update training courses to reflect changing technology and personnel development requirements.
- Develop and administer qualification standards to ensure consistency with industry standards.
- Develop and present engaging training lessons on science fundamentals, systems, and equipment principles.
- Work with contract partners to develop trades training courses and direct and supervise training programs.
- Evaluate and report on trainee progress and participate in nuclear recruiting programs.
- 4-year University Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 6 and up to 8 years of relevant experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Adult Education.
- Commitment to continuous program improvement and forward momentum.
- Collaborative and open-minded with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficient in embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) into training programs.
- Experience supporting DE&I across various sectors, including corporate and nuclear.
- Ability to work closely with another team member on specific projects.
