About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Internal Audit team at J.D. Irving. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our audit strategy, ensuring that our business operations are aligned with our risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits to ensure the effectiveness of our risk management processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to implement control enhancements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading complex audit projects and developing effective risk management strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
