Procurement Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at Five Continents International Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase and Acquisition
    • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring alignment with our business requirements.
  • Contract Management
    • Negotiate offers from suppliers, ensuring fair and competitive pricing.
    • Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
    • Award contracts to appropriate parties, ensuring compliance with our procurement policies.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
    • Consult with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Team Leadership
    • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective team performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
    • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
