Business Development Representative

As a Corporate Accounts Sales Representative at Canon Canada, you will be responsible for uncovering and closing hardware, software, and managed IT service opportunities within an assigned territory. This is an outside face-to-face sales role, with occasional reporting to the office for training, team meetings, or other business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and support existing customers, understanding their short and long-term needs and forecasting business opportunities.
- Research accounts, prospect within an assigned list of accounts for new opportunities to sell hardware, software, and managed IT services.
- Stay up-to-date on company and competitor products, pricing, and solutions.
- Coordinate pre and post-sales support to customers in assigned territory.
- Complete sales documentation and facilitate the delivery of products.
- Promote company image and products at business-related events.
- Prepare and submit internal reports and account profiles as required.
- You will have a proven track record in B2B sales, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning on hardware, software, and IT services.
- You will be self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work autonomously to meet the demands of a highly productive workweek.
- You will have a positive attitude, lots of energy, self-motivation, personal integrity, and an entrepreneurial flair.
- You will possess leadership qualities and a strong understanding of solutions selling.
