We are seeking an Alberta-licensed Advanced Care Paramedic to join our Leduc office on a casual basis. This opportunity allows you to advance your career with Bravo Target Safety.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package
  • Conduct and maintain accurate headcounts unless otherwise advised
  • Provide medical standby-by services and respond to emergencies as per provincial scope of practice
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans for specific sites and scopes
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to hazard assessments
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Report incidents and assist in investigations as required
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
  • Maintain emergency response apparatuses according to manufacturer's recommendations and related standards
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards colleagues on-site
  • Perform other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate an active Alberta College of Paramedics Registration
  • Previous experience as EMR is considered advantageous
  • Clean Class 5 Driver's License
  • Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C (or equivalent)
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • H2S Alive
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication abilities
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods, work long hours, and adapt to day and night shifts
  • Pass Drug and Alcohol testing

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
