About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Medical Psychiatric Specialist to join our team at Forest Lane Medical Clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders in adults.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders using evidence-based practices and medications as necessary.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
- Doctoral degree in medicine (MD) or a related field.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Canada.
- Board certification in psychiatry or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric medicine.
- Experience working in a private medical clinic setting.
- Knowledge of current psychiatric research and treatment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
