We are seeking a highly skilled Project Inspection Specialist to join our Contract Administration Division in Ontario. This role involves conducting field inspections at various construction sites throughout the province, ensuring compliance with contract documents, quality, and safety standards.

About the Role

This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and construction inspection works, with experience working on projects related to structural, watermain, asphalt, and/or grade inspection.

As a Project Inspection Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting construction projects to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards;
  • Interpreting contract drawings and specifications, identifying potential issues, and communicating them effectively to project stakeholders;
  • Liaising with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or concerns;
  • Maintaining accurate records of site inspections, progress reports, and documentation.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a university degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering. Additionally, you should have relevant work experience in engineering and construction inspection, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this position, as you will be required to travel to site locations within the area. Familiarity with Ontario's regulatory framework and contract administration practices is also desirable.
