The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various carpet installation techniques, including direct glue-down installations and resilient floor coverings. You will also be responsible for inspecting and repairing damaged floor coverings, as well as removing existing floor coverings and contaminants. Additionally, you will need to estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

As a Carpet Installation Specialist at QC Quality Carpet Inc, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial installations. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all installations are completed to the highest standards.

We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in carpet installation and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpet installation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • 40 hours per week
