We are seeking a skilled and organized Administrative Clerk to join our team at Sun City Hotels Ltd.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. As an Administrative Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents: Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all written communications.
  • Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries: Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases: Maintain accurate records and generate reports as required.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically: Handle all postal and courier services efficiently.
  • Send and receive messages: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks: Assist with financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information: Analyze and present data to support business decisions.
  • Provide general information to clients and the public: Offer exceptional customer service and answer queries.
  • File material in storage areas: Maintain a organized and secure filing system.
  • Label files according to retention and disposal schedules: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Label, file, and retrieve documents: Access and store information efficiently.
  • Locate and remove files requested: Retrieve information quickly and accurately.
Work Environment and Requirements

This role requires a fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and performing repetitive tasks. You must be able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. A positive attitude, efficiency, hardworking nature, flexibility, organization, reliability, and accuracy are essential for this position.
