About the Role

FREIGHT HAWK LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our logistics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from point of origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Documentation: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Negotiations and Rate Management: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and manage transportation service rates to maximize revenue.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and manage risks associated with transportation operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, transportation, or business.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
