At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre.

About the Role

This is a regular part-time position with 28.5 hours per week, working rotating shifts. As an LPN at VCH, you will work independently and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, performing a full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated area of specialty.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document client care, and provide support to clients and their families
  • Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and under general supervision, supports the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes or where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licenced Practical Nurses
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is CAD $32.84-$41.35 per hour, based on a 76% FTE and 28.5 hours worked per week.
