Business Operations Coordinator

Bennett Jones, a premier business law firm in Canada, is seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join our Montreal office.
As a Receptionist at Bennett Jones, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in person, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Answer internal and external telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking messages as needed
- Manage boardroom bookings and hospitality requests using meeting room booking software
- Ensure the reception area is neatly maintained and organized
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with computerized switchboard and large meeting room booking software (Rendezvous)
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with a strong focus on client relations
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and intranet software
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and possess good problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
