Voyago Fleet Mechanic - Apprentice Role

We are seeking a skilled 310S Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in Ottawa. As a Fleet Mechanic - Apprentice, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance, in compliance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventative maintenance
  • Utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs
  • Complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Keep work environment clean and tidy
  • Complete required reports as directed

Requirements

  • Registered with Skilled Trades Ontario as 310S Apprentice Mechanic
  • Ongoing pursuit of ODP certification with A/C experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
  • Excellent proven customer service experience
  • Valid G class driving license
  • Safe driver with a clean driving record
  • Clean criminal record check
  • Preference will be given to those in year 3 or greater
