Voyago Fleet Mechanic - Apprentice Role

We are seeking a skilled 310S Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and in compliance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines.
  • Utilize parts from inventory or order necessary parts through the Fleet Management software to make repairs.
  • Complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Keep work environment clean and tidy.
  • Complete required reports as directed.

Requirements:

  • Registered with Skilled Trades Ontario as 310S Apprentice Mechanic.
  • Ongoing pursuit of ODP certification with A/C experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent proven customer service experience.
  • Valid G class driving license.
  • Safe driver with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to provide a clean criminal record check.
  • Preference given to those in year 3 or greater.
