We are currently seeking a skilled Private Equity Associate to join our team in Toronto. The successful candidate will have a strong background in investment banking or a related field and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis.

The role of the Private Equity Associate involves conducting research, evaluating investment opportunities, and providing support to the investment team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of industry sectors, public securities, and private companies.
  • Developing and presenting financial models, industry overviews, and expected return scenarios to senior personnel.
  • Participating in due diligence tasks, including assessing industry structure, company past performance, and management team quality.
  • Monitoring the financial and operational aspects of portfolio investments and preparing regular reports.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
  • Undergraduate degree required with strong academic standing.
  • CFA or CA designation is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis.
  • Investment mindset, self-starter, team-oriented, detail-oriented, and proven ability to perform in high-expectation environment.
