**Job Summary**

Immigration Canada Pro seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our public engagement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that engage with diverse stakeholders.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled professional who can effectively communicate complex information to various audiences through various channels. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation of engaging materials such as brochures, reports, newsletters, and other publications.

You will also play a critical role in conducting public opinion and attitude surveys, gathering research, and preparing communications materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining contact with the media, preparing educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of engaging materials, including brochures, reports, newsletters, and other publications.
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to gather valuable insights.
  • Gather research and prepare communications materials to support our public engagement efforts.
  • Maintain contact with the media to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.
  • Prepare educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions to engage with various audiences.

Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and media representatives.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
