Bakery Sales Associate Position in Dawson City

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bakery Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and performing various tasks related to bakery sales and operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by stocking shelves, cleaning equipment and surfaces, and ensuring that the bakery area is tidy and well-maintained.
- Perform tasks such as bagging, boxing, and parceling purchases for customers, as well as obtaining articles from shelves or stockrooms as required.
- Stock shelves and display areas to ensure that products are visually appealing and easily accessible to customers.
- Price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list and perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist with ordering picking and provide support to colleagues as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be physically capable of handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines. They must also be able to work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity throughout their shift.
Salary Information:The salary for this position is approximately $32,500 - $37,000 per annum, based on a 35-40 hour workweek. This estimate is subject to change based on individual qualifications and experience.
