The Head Chef at CREPE DELICIOUS is responsible for overseeing the kitchen and food preparation processes. This role involves determining portion sizes and costs, preparing complete meals or individual dishes, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in food preparation and handling, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, working 32 to 40 hours per week. English language proficiency is required for this role.
