Mechanic Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at AVS Systems Ltd.
Job SummaryThe Mechanic Helper will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
- Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with tasks and projects.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas.
- Perform other labouring and elemental activities as needed.
The Mechanic Helper will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure is essential.
Weight HandlingThe Mechanic Helper will be required to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Personal Suitability- Efficient interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Excellent oral communication skills are required.
- Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team are necessary.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience is an asset, but not required. The successful candidate will have a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
The language of work is English.
