Mechanic Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Helper to join our team at AVS Systems Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, signaling safety procedures, and performing laboring and elemental activities.
Responsibilities:- Assist mechanics with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, and cleaning machines and work areas.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public.
- Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Perform other laboring and elemental activities as required.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Work under pressure.
- Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organized and efficient.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The work will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
