We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanic Helper to join our team at AVS Systems Ltd.
Job SummaryThe Mechanic Helper will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems. This role requires a combination of physical labor and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
- Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with tasks and projects
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Perform other laboring and elemental activities as required
- Physically demanding role requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in a mechanical or industrial setting
- Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
