Job Title: Assistant Cook

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Stratford Pizza Corner Ltd. as a key member of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen management team to optimize kitchen operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational skills.
  • Client-focused, flexible, and reliable with a strong team player attitude.
