Tower Security Officer

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of tenants, employees, and property. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing access control, identifying and addressing security risks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce access control procedures to ensure the security of tenants and employees
  • Identify and address security risks, including suspicious activities and hazards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and employees
  • Perform regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of general security experience
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Diploma in Security
  • Successful completion of annual Use of Force and CF compliance training
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Maintain safe working practices and demonstrate same to co-workers
  • Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
