Job Summary:

Cadillac Fairview is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tower Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our tenants, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce access control procedures and maintain a visible presence through assigned patrol and post duties.
  • Identify and address security exposure, violations, hazards, and suspicious activities, and report them to the relevant authorities.
  • Provide after-hours lock-up and morning open-up services.
  • Respond to and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby area and report any areas requiring attention.
  • Enforce access control procedures and maintain a secure environment.
  • Ensure all relevant matters are brought to the attention of Security in an efficient manner.
  • Conduct access control duties and fire watches in assigned towers as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of general security experience.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificates preferred.
  • Diploma in Security preferred.
  • Successful completion of annual Use of Force and CF compliance training.
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Maintain safe working practices and demonstrate same to co-workers.
  • Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Complete CF Serve and Secure program and recertification annually.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Security Guard license and comply with PSISA and its regulations, as amended from time to time.
