We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at BCI. As a key member of our Cyber Security Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing security solutions to protect our organization's assets and data.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of security requirements and design security solutions to protect our organization's assets and data.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of secure, quality products.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert security advice and guidance to stakeholders on security-related matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, and industry experts.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security processes, products, and projects.
- Expert knowledge in engineering secure systems, including secure coding and secure infrastructure as code.
- Experience with securing cloud environments, including identity and access management systems for hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of security project delivery, including threat modeling, security design reviews, and privacy impact assessments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health and dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. The annualized base salary range for this role is CAD $120,000 to $140,000.
